Frequently Asked Questions – Brussels Guides & Tours

Do you have questions before booking your tour in Brussels? Here you’ll find clear answers about our guided tours, private experiences, day trips, meeting points, cancellations, weather conditions and more.

Bookings and confirmation

Why should I book my tour in advance?

Booking in advance helps secure your spot on your preferred date and time, especially on weekends, public holidays and high season. It also gives you peace of mind knowing your Brussels experience is confirmed before you arrive.

How will I receive my booking confirmation?

Once your booking is completed, you’ll see the confirmation on screen and receive an email with all the details: booking reference, language, meeting point, duration and tour conditions.

What should I do if I don’t receive the confirmation email?

First, check your spam or junk folder. If you still can’t find it, contact us with your name, phone number and booking reference if available. We’ll help you locate your reservation as soon as possible.

Do I need to print my voucher or can I show it on my phone?

For most tours, you can show your confirmation on your smartphone. If any provider or activity requires a printed voucher, we’ll clearly state it in the confirmation email.

Can I change the date or time of my booking?

Yes, subject to availability. Contact us with your booking reference and we’ll do our best to help you change the date or time.

Languages, groups and meeting points

Which languages are the tours offered in?

We offer tours in English and Spanish, always in separate language groups and led by professional local guides.

How big are the groups?

We work with small groups to offer a more personal, comfortable and engaging experience. The exact group size may vary depending on the tour, date and season.

Where do the tours in Brussels start?

Most tours start at central and easy-to-find meeting points. One of our usual meeting points is Grand Place / Grote Markt, in the historic centre of Brussels. You’ll receive the exact address once your booking is confirmed.

Where do the tours end?

It depends on the route. Tours usually end in central or well-connected areas, so you can keep exploring Brussels, return to your accommodation or continue with another activity.

Tours, private experiences and day trips

What types of tours do you offer in Brussels?

We offer regular walking tours, private tours, tailor-made experiences, food and tasting experiences, and day trips from Brussels to other Belgian cities.

Do you offer private tours in Brussels?

Yes. We organise private tours in Brussels adapted to your pace, interests and schedule. They are ideal for couples, families, groups of friends, companies, schools or incentive trips.

Can I customise a private tour?

Of course. We can adapt the itinerary to include the historic centre, Grand Place, the European Quarter, Sablon, Marolles, art nouveau architecture, museums, Belgian chocolate, beer tastings or less touristy neighbourhoods.

Can I take day trips from Brussels?

Yes. We organise day trips from Brussels to Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, Leuven and other destinations in Belgium, either as regular or private tours.

Can I combine several Belgian cities in one day?

In some cases, yes. Popular combinations such as Bruges and Ghent can be arranged depending on the available time and type of tour. Private tours offer more flexibility for combined routes.

Are chocolate or beer tastings included?

Some experiences may include Belgian chocolate tastings, beer tastings or food stops. If included, this will be clearly stated in the tour description before you book.

Are entrance tickets to monuments or museums included?

It depends on the tour. If tickets, indoor visits or special activities are included, this will be clearly stated in the description and in your booking confirmation.

Duration, accessibility and practical details

How long do the tours in Brussels last?

Walking tours usually last between 2 and 2.5 hours. Day trips from Brussels may take half a day or a full day depending on the destination, transport and included stops.

Can I bring hand luggage?

On walking tours, you can bring a small bag or backpack as long as it does not make the route uncomfortable. For day trips, museums or activities with transport, please check with us before booking.

Are pets allowed?

Small, well-behaved dogs may be allowed on some walking tours. Indoor venues, museums, tastings and transport may have restrictions, so we recommend checking with us before booking.

Are the tours suitable for people with reduced mobility?

It depends on the route. Some areas of Brussels have cobblestones, slopes or steps. Contact us before booking and we’ll recommend the most suitable option for your needs.

Weather, cancellations and payments

What happens if it rains?

Tours go ahead in light rain. We only reschedule or cancel if weather conditions could affect safety or prevent the activity from being carried out properly.

What is your cancellation policy?

Most of our experiences offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start time. Some tickets, tastings, transport or third-party services may have special conditions.

If you cancel the tour, will I get a refund?

Yes. If we cancel an activity, you’ll receive a full refund or, if you prefer, we’ll try to offer an alternative on another available date.

Can I request an invoice?

Yes. Send us your full billing details and we’ll issue the invoice as soon as possible.
