Be amazed by the Brussels city that does not appear in the media, the one with the most beautiful square in the world, the one with the luxurious nineteenth-century commercial galleries and the one with the gothic cathedral sister of Notre-Dame. All mixed with the right doses of history, religion, literature, chocolate, and beer in our Brussels private tour: Walk through the Brussels’ landmarks
We set aside the Brussels Capital of Europe to focus on the Brussels Capital of Belgium. A city where the cosmopolitan mixes with the vestiges of the Middle Ages and Modernism, so heterogeneous in its history, its art and its culture that many celebrities surrendered to its charm: from Victor Hugo to Karl Marx, going through Baudelaire, Vincent Van Gogh or Pieter Brueghel. The heritage of its streets is so overwhelming that the hours become minutes admiring the splendor of its buildings, statues and art galleries.
The first stop of the walk already hits the imagination of the traveler in the Grand Place, with its city hall declared as World Heritage Site. Afterward, the surprise is assured with the most characteristic symbol of the city, its spoiled child, its guardian, its most faithful soldier, its protector: the inimitable Manneken Pis. We cannot forget the economy with the eclectic Stock Exchange, or the religion with its Cathedral of Saint Michael and Saint Gudule. The views and photographs are guaranteed from one of the most emblematic viewpoints of the city, as well as the knowledge necessary to deal with the secrets of buying waffles, chocolates, and beers with a certificate of origin. And all this is just a small example of the discoveries we will make during the visit.
